“We were referred to Sarah by the staff at UCSF. On a Sunday evening the day after we brought our baby home, I was in tears trying to figure out how to breastfeed without pain. I was able to book an appointment on Sarah’s website for the very next day with no hassle, which was a huge source of comfort. During the appointment itself, which was conducted virtually, Sarah was knowledgeable and empathic. I was not sure what to expect from a virtual appointment, but Sarah was able to correct my latch within a few minutes of observing a feeding. My partner and I were so impressed by her kindness and patience and expertise about everything from latching to pump sanitization. This consult with Sarah totally changed the course of our ride as first time parents, and we can’t recommend her enough!”

"Sarah Quigley was a gift from the new mom universe! We first saw her when our baby was only 5 pounds and we were struggling to juggle the demands of both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding with fortified, pumped breastmilk. As soon as Sarah stepped in, my husband and I knew that we were in good hands. Together, we devised a plan that included pumping techniques and timing, bottle feeding tools and positions, milk storage tips, and a larger care plan. She was in close contact with our pediatrician, which helped us better communicate our baby's status to the doctor.
"Over the last five months of care, Sarah has proven to be exceptionally attentive, thorough, caring, responsive, warm, knowledgeable, perceptive, and encouraging. She also affirmed my ability to nurse my baby into good health; my husband especially needed to hear that from a trusted expert.
"We transitioned to virtual consults in March 2020. Even over the video, Sarah continued to assess my baby and work through longer-term weight gain methods such as starting solids, meal timing, and other surprising tips (spoon feeding breast milk, for example). The televisits haven't interfered with our ability to plan and strategize for my baby's care. She continued to carefully listen to our concerns and, together, we adapted our plan to my baby's changing needs. I am very grateful for her help and expertise guiding us through the many challenges of nourishing a newborn baby."
