Home. What better place to get help with breastfeeding? Feel free to stay in your PJs, and don't worry about tidying up! All home and video consults include:
  • After-visit summary and care plan
  • A report sent to your health care providers
  • One week of messaging support
See scheduling page for pricing and insurance information.

Video Lactation Consults - 1 hour
Your first appointment with me is over video, either prenatally or postpartum, and you're welcome to schedule follow-up video consults anytime. I can help you with positioning and latching, pumping, breast and nipple care, and much more.

Follow-up Home Lactation Consults - 1.5 hours

I am offering home visits to established clients at my discretion, after an initial video consult. During a home visit, I will weigh your baby on a sensitive pediatric scale and provide hands-on help. My service area includes San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo counties.

Phone Lactation Consults - 15-60 minutes
Have a few quick questions? I'm happy to talk with you. Available to new and established clients.

Home Visit Safety Policies and Procedures
  • I am fully vaccinated. I received the two-dose Pfizer vaccine for COVID on 01/08/21 and 01/29/21.
  • I take everyone's safety very seriously. If I am feeling at all sick, I will contact you to reschedule.
  • I undergo COVID testing every 2 weeks with a PCR nasopharyngeal swab. My last negative test was 02/23/21.
  • All clients must complete a COVID screening questionnaire and consent form prior to a home visit and confirm that all members of their household are symptom-free the day of the visit.
  • Face masks are required for everyone ages 2 and older during a home visit.
  • My personal protective equipment: shoe covers, exam gloves, KN95 face mask, eye protection
  • Upon arrival for a home visit, I wash my hands with soap and water up to my elbows for at least 20 seconds.
  • I ask clients to keep windows open whenever possible. I am happy to do home visits outdoors, weather permitting.
  • All clients must refrain from eating and drinking (except the baby!), and I do the same. I do not request to use clients' restrooms.
  • I sanitize my equipment (scale, pen, clipboard, phone) before and after use with alcohol wipes.
General Housekeeping
  • I am an in-network provider with Aetna and Meritain. Check with your insurance provider to find out more about coverage for lactation consults. I bill insurance directly for my services.
  • Self-pay clients may pre-pay by credit card through the online booking system, and I provide a SuperBill to submit to insurance for any reimbursement provided under the Affordable Care Act.
  • There is a $50 travel fee for home visits outside of San Francisco.
  • There is a $75 cancelation fee for appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice.
